Updating your AMP Terminal

Please make sure your terminal is powered on, connected to Wi-Fi or Cellular internet, and has a full charge, or is plugged into the USB charger before getting started.

Please make sure to print a batch detail report if the terminal is having issues setteling:

  1. Press Main Menu

  2. Select Reports

  3. Enter the Merchant Password

  4. Select Batch Reports

  5. Select Batch Detail

  6. Select Terminal Detail

  7. Allow the report to print

Once your terminal is booted up, follow these steps to get the latest update:

Select Main Menu from the welcome screen.

Select Admin from the main menu.

Enter the Merchant Password and press OK.

(Default is 12345678)

Select Updates Download from the admin menu.

Select TMS from the updates download menu.

If the batch is not settled you will have to follow all (optional) steps, if not go ahead to the final steps below

(Optional) Press Yes to perform the settlement.

Note: The settlement must be performed for the TMS Update to occur.

(Optional) Press OK to confirm the sale totals.

(Optional) Press OK to confirm the return totals.

(Optional) Verify the settlement was approved.

(Optional) Press Yes to download the update.

Verify the parameter update was successful.

Your terminal is now updated, Nice work! 🚀
