AMP - TSYS Certificate Upgrade
By Wednesday October 26th 2022, all deployed AMP TSYS terminals must be updated with the latest TSYS Certificate or they will no longer communicate with the host for transactions. This will not “brick” or disable the terminal, simply upgrading the app will return all functions.
What’s Happening
There is a mandatory update for the AMP TSYS application that is required for all production customers, on both Attended & Unattended device platforms. (AMP 8000, 8200, 6500). This update is required by TSYS, and is only concerning the certificate versions within the application; no other features, functionality, or certifications are impacted.
What AMP is doing
AMP has released a new version of our TSYS payment applications.
Attended (8000, 8200):AMP POS v02.02.045_TYSta02.01.001
Unattended (6500):
AMP POS v02.02.006UTC
We are going to directly upgrade all production client templates with the new release, so you can simply queue the updates and focus on your merchants and their terminals.
This release only contains the certificate upgrade - no feature changes vs. current version
