Auto-Update FAILED Troubleshooting
If Auto-Update was enabled but the download failed, there is either an unresolved settlement, a communication, or a configuration error. There are two ways to approach this:
Retry the Auto-Update again in the next scheduled time frame
Perform manual intervention on the terminal and update it directly RECOMMENDED
If Auto-Update fails Manual Intervention on the device is likely required. When guiding a merchant to do an on-device download, share this link: Merchant Instructions
Updating your AMP Terminal
Please make sure your terminal is powered on, connected to Wi-Fi or Cellular internet, and has a full charge, or is plugged into the USB charger before getting started.

Once your terminal is booted up, follow these steps to get the latest update:
Please make sure to print a batch detail report if the terminal is having settlement issues:
Press Main Menu
Select Reports
Enter the Merchant Password
Select Batch Reports
Select Batch Detail
Select Terminal Detail
Allow the report to print
Select Main Menu from the welcome screen. |

Select Admin from the main menu. |

Enter the Merchant Password and press OK. (Default is 12345678) |

Select Updates Download from the admin menu. |
Select TMS from the updates download menu. |
(Optional) Press Yes to perform the settlement. | |
(Optional) Press OK to confirm the sale totals. | |
(Optional) Press OK to confirm the return totals. | |
(Optional) Verify the settlement was approved. | |
(Optional) Press Yes to download the update. | |
Verify the parameter update was successful. | |
Verify the update was successfully processed. |
Confirm the status of all terminals
Once your terminal is upgraded on the device, use the instructions in the article below to confirm every device you manage is now showing as “Up to Date” in AMP 360 .
