Connecting to WiFi

Note: For 6500 devices, the WLAN and Ethernet connections should not be enabled at the same time. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in communication failures.

  1. Open the Application Menu and select Settings.

2. Enter the Admin password (Default: 1234567).

3. Select WLAN.

4. Enable the WiFi Toggle Button.

5. Enter the network password and press Connect.
If needed, enable Show password to verify the input.
(Optional) To configure a Static IP skip to Step 6 before pressing Connect.

6. (Optional) To configure a Static IP, select Advanced Options and select
Static from the dropdown menu. Configure the following values and then press Connect.

IP Address:

Enter the desired IP Address (e.g. 192.168.1.100)

Network Prefix Length:

Leave as default

DNS Address:

Enter desired DNS Server if needed, otherwise leave as-is (e.g. 8.8.8.8)

Gateway Address:

Enter the IP Address of the local network router/gateway (e.g. 192.168.1.1)

7. Once configuration is completed press Connect then verify the network shows Connected.
