Connecting to Ethernet

Note: The WLAN and Ethernet connections should not be enabled at the same time. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in communication failures.

  1. Open the Application Menu and select Settings.

  1. Enter the Admin password (Default: 1234567).

  1. Select

PosSettings.

  1. Select

Mode Switch.

  1. Verify the

Ethernet Route is Off then select USB Connection.

  1. Select

USB Host then press Back twice.

 

  1. Select

WLAN.

  1. Verify the

WLAN Toggle Button is set to Off then press back.

  1. Select

Ethernet.

10. Enable the Ethernet Toggle Button.

11. (Optional) To configure a Static IP, select Ethernet Configuration otherwise skip to Step 13.

12. (Optional) Select Static IP, and configure the following values. Once completed press Save.

Enter the desired IP Address (e.g. 192.168.1.100)

Network Prefix Length:

Leave as default

DNS Address:

Enter desired DNS Server if needed, otherwise leave as-is (e.g. 8.8.8.8)

Gateway Address:

Enter the IP Address of the local network router/gateway (e.g. 192.168.1.1)

13. Verify the ethernet connection is successfully established by the Green Computer Icon in the status bar.
